We were shocked to see the sky-high heel loving Miranda Kerr step out in flat, lace-ups with her full-on leather look, and now Bradley Cooper's main squeeze is doing the same! Did these famous faces decide to take time off from heels, like some sort of no makeup day for the feet? Or are Keds-style sneaks with high-fashion looks actually coming into style?
Let's start with the first offender, the former Mrs. Orlando Bloom. We went nuts for this sleek, dark leather combo. That is before we saw the VS angel's ankles sticking out against those boring, black rubber sneakers. There's technically nothing wrong with the footwear, but against this otherwise hot look, they stick out like a fashion accident.
Same goes for Suki's bubble gum pink, kid kicks. The multi-rouge toned Victoria Beckham look is definitely fun and youthful, but it's still more formal than the footwear choice. We could see keeping it down to earth with a flat or bootie, but sneakers turn this into a Wes Anderson-inspired tennis outfit.
Given Miranda's consistent color choice, we'll call her look the lesser of the two evils. What's your take?
