Isn't it a little late for celebrity seasonal affect disorder? We'd understand if Emma Watson, Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga and more celebs hibernated during this miserably cold winter in thick, dark colors but why the funeral gear now that it's finally spring? It's like a virus of teenaged moodiness has struck the A-list set!

We're not saying that black isn't always the new black, but these looks are a bit more somber than they are stylish.

First, Emma Watson is by far the most dramatic of the set with her "Dark Horse" Oscar de la Renta dress. The Noah star looks like she's headed to honor a fallen member of her Italian family circa 1920. We love the intensity of the long sleeves and full ball gown shape, but in this color it's down right depressing!

Kim Kardashian smartly wears a ton of black to turn her perfect curves into a sleek line, but this version is too much of one thing for our tastes. The turtlneck and the long pencil skirt hide too much, even if they are saved by the world's hottest gladiator sandal. We'd prefer a dipped neckline or a shorter bottom.

Reserved and black are a welcome change on Lady Gaga, who was recently seen wearing a cupcake pink bikini and an Abominable snowman suit. The massive lapels on this double-breasted dress may be totally '80s territory, but we actually like the dramatic shape, and we're even willing to look past the terrifying lace mask!

Leather typically says tough not sad, but Cameron Diaz is making it scream hot in this business dress with an edgy twist from The Row. The sleeves are longer than we'd like, but the only mood this fashion moment is conveying is sultry.

She may be wearing a muted color, but Shailene Woodley is screaming high style in her Dolce & Gabbana suit. The stove pipe pant and low neckline isn't fit for any memorial service we've ever encountered, but it would be a fine choice for a night out in New York City where a pouty face and dark clothes are simply part of the uniform.
