Here at Beauty Police, we're kind of like Goldilocks when it comes to red carpet makeup: most of the time we find the starlets are wearing too much or we complain they're wearing too little. Well, it looks like we're finally getting our porridge served up just right because Shailene Woodley stole the red carpet at the Los Angeles Divergent Premiere with simple yet ultra-flattering makeup.

Let's face it…when you have eyes as green as Shailene's, you need to wear gold or green to bring out that gorgeous hue. But by wearing pink eye shadow combined with chocolate-lined eyes, the Divergent star's peepers looked almost electric green.

With just a sweep of contouring powder hugging her cheekbones, a healthy flush to the apples of her cheeks and a natural-colored lip, Shailene's best features glowed.

Get the Look: To copy Shailene's eye makeup (which will make blue and hazel eyes pop), start by prepping eyes with a primer or concealer. Next, cover the entire upper eye area with a matte cream-colored powder eye shadow.

Then, brush a petal pink shimmer eye shadow like Bobbi Brown Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow in Petal on your lids up to your creases. To add dimension to this look, apply a matte bubblegum pink eye shadow like Revlon Colorstay Shadow Links in Candy in a V-shape to the outer corners of your eyes and creases. Blend like crazy.

To make your eyes appear brighter, apply a champagne-hued shimmer eye shadow like 100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Eye Shadow in Champagne to the inner corners of your eyes. Blend.

Once you've blended your eye shadow, apply a waterproof dark brown eyeliner pencil like Rouge Bunny Rouge Feline Gaze Long-Lasting Eye Pencil in Lola along your upper lash line, gradually making the line thicker as you get towards the outer corners.

Next, line your lower lash lines with the chocolate eyeliner and blend with a Q-tip or a smudger. If you don't have sensitive eyes, line the inner rim of your eyes as well. Complete your eye makeup with two to three coats of your favorite volume-building mascara.

To accentuate your cheekbones like Shailene, sweep a matte light brown powder bronzer or contour powder underneath your cheekbones, up towards your temples (in a crescent shape) and blend like crazy! Then, to add a subtle healthy glow and highlight to your cheeks, sweep Benefit Fine One-One from the apples of your cheeks upwards towards your temples and blend with your fingertips.

Copy Shailene's natural-looking pucker by applying a hydrating, tinted lip balm like Sisley-Paris Phyto-Twist in Nude to your lips.

We've been reading lately that Shailene stays true to her natural beauty by eating clay and swishing oils in her mouth every morning. Judging by her recent red carpet appearances, we would have to say that her beauty rituals are working! But before we pop clumps of clay in our mouth, we may start by just trying out Shailene's minimal-chic makeup. Baby steps…
