Yes, we're assuming the sophisticated Big Sur star doesn't have much to do with the "Wrecking Ball" wild child, and we think that's totally fair.
But does that mean the unofficial Texan business suit is having a major fashion moment? Or are both celebs honoring the exit of Jay Leno, the ultimate denim-on-denim advocate?
Either way, we have two distinct styles to choose from. The Homefront actress opted for a dark/light look from Guess, featuring super skinny peg legs. It's nice to see some tone contrast between the jeans on top and bottom, but we're not sure the army green shoes match.
The "We Can't Stop" singer definitely wins in the footwear category, the longer pant leg lengthens her and we're fans of a western-themed belt, but the blue tones of these Saint Laurent pieces totally clash.
We say Kate comes out on top, even if Miley's people technically invented this trend (or maybe because they invented it!) What's your take?
