Kim Kardashian was left with no choice but to change her look after her original dress broke 5 minutes before her Ellen appearance (#celebsworstnightmare). The future Mrs. Kanye West frantically Instagrammed, "OMG my dress for Ellen just broke!!! I have to leave in 5mins...I need help! Should I wear this???" referring to the slinky cream skirt at left. Then posted a shot of the shorter khaki option, which she selected as the winner. We wish she'd have skipped the Twitter post and called us instead!
It's not that we don't like the knee-length cocktail style with the new mamma's plunging cream top. We just find the slinky mermaid style even hotter. Not everyone can pull off a floor-length, skintight jersey skirt, but Kim is on the short list, and we love when she takes sexy fashion risks.
So Kim, next time you find yourself in a bind, give a quick buzz to your friends at Fashion Police and we'll give you an honest opinion. Though if you're looking for a statistical sample size, your 12 million Instagram followers are probable the safer bet.
