There is just one word for Sarah Hyland's hair and makeup at the Xbox One Official Launch – pretty.  Sure, she could have gone edgy and daring with her look since it was an Xbox event but sometimes a girl just wants to look… pretty.

At first glance we thought the hair was too conservative (read: too old for her age). But, once we saw the side view with the teased, messy crown and deconstructed bun, we cursed ourselves for ever thinking such an untruth.

We were beyond in love with the Modern Family starlet's eye makeup. This girl knows how to play up her killer green eyes.  The burgundy and bronze eye shadows make her emerald eyes sparkle, while the thick black eyeliner and lush lashes make her eyes look even bigger.

And check out the side shot of Sarah… See how the camera flash catches the highlighter on her cheek, yet it doesn't look shimmery or like stripper sparkle? Perfection. Almost brings a tear to our eyes…

Get the Look: While we all can't have the skin of a 22-year-old, we can at least try and fake it.  Before you get in the shower, cleanse skin with your usual cleanser. Then apply a gentle exfoliating mask like REN F10 Smooth and Renew Mask and keep it on in the shower (the steam will help activate the mask).

After you rinse the mask, apply a nourishing, hydrating moisturizer like First Aid Beauty Dual Repair Face Cream.  Once your moisturizer has completely absorbed, follow with a primer like Arbonne Makeup Primer to minimize shine and fill in fine lines and pores.

Next, apply a buildable, light-reflecting foundation like Lancôme Teint Miracle Foundation . Use a creamy concealer to cover up any darkness under the eyes and redness around the nose.  Blend foundation and concealer by lightly dampening a makeup sponge and blotting entire face.

To recreate Sarah's stunning eye makeup, after prepping upper eye area with primer or concealer, apply a flesh or cream-colored eye shadow. Follow with using a small eye brush to apply a shimmery bronze eye shadow like from the Votre Vu Palette Play in Copper to the lids.

Then, using a contour eye brush like Clinique Eye Contour Brush dipped in a burgundy eye shadow like MAC Eye Shadow in Cranberry, brush back and forth (like a windshield wiper) in the eye creases. Blend like crazy. Take an eyeliner brush and dip it into the burgundy eye shadow and line the lower lash line. Then use a smudger or Q-Tip to soften the eye shadow and blend it into the lash line.

Next, use black eyeliner (gel or pencil will work) to create a line along the upper lash line that gets thicker as you get towards the outer corners. If your eyes aren't sensitive, use a black eyeliner pencil to line the waterline.  Follow with 2-3 coats of a volume-building and lengthening mascara like MAKE UP FOR EVER Smoky Extravagant Mascara.

To mimic that natural-looking highlight on Sarah's cheekbones, we would use RMS Living Luminizer. It gives that "I just got back from an oxygen facial" look while making our cheekbones look a lot higher than they actually are. Using your ring finger, tap the highlighter along your cheekbones and blend towards your temples.

We are definitely trying this entire look this weekend. We figure if Sarah can pull this off at an Xbox event, where celebrities showed up in t-shirts and baseball caps, we can rock this look for dinner and Catching Fire at our local theater.
