As much as we love summer, there is something so magical about fall… And, nothing makes us happier than starlets wearing our favorite flattering autumn colors on their beautiful faces. Reese Witherspoon had us dreaming of multi-colored foliage and pumpkin displays when we saw her coppery eye makeup and toasted coral lipstick on the red carpet of the Toronto Film Festival.

We loved that instead of smoking her eyes in dark heavy colors, the Devil's Knot star opted for browns and coppers to bring out the blue in her eyes and keep her look evening yet understated.

The apples of Reese's cheeks were warmed with a subtle peach to complement her fair skin and high cheekbones. Her lips were painted in a coral that had a hint of brown (making it the perfect hue for fall), which is one of those universal colors that happens to look good on everyone.

Get the Look: Start by covering your entire eyelid with a nude matte eye shadow like NYX Cosmetics Nude Matte Shadow in Birthday Suit. Next, use a paddle-shaped eye shadow brush like MAKE UP FOR EVER 228 Medium Precision Shader Brush to apply a copper shimmer eye shadow like ILLAMASQUA Powder Eye Shadow in Bronx to the eyelids (up to crease).

Then, to contour the creases use a matte brown eye shadow like Urban Decay Eye Shadow in Buck. Dip a crease brush with a precise tip like MAKE UP FOR EVER 232 Medium Precision Crease Brush into the brown and using a "windshield wiper" motion, sweep the brush back and forth in the crease.

Then, create a sideways "V shape" with the outer edge of your crease and the outer corner of your eyes.  Blend like crazy. Apply a shimmery white highlighter to the brow bones to give the eyes an extra lift.

Next, use a waterproof matte brown eyeliner pencil like Blinc Eyeliner Pencil in Brown to draw a line along your upper lash line from the outer corner of your eyes to where your lashes start getting shorter (basically where your eyeball ends).  Use a smudger to smudge the liner into your lash line to give it a softer look.

For your lower lash line, use a flat eyeliner brush dipped in the shimmery copper and line the entire lower lash line and smudge.  To make this look really sparkle, use a shimmery champagne eye shadow like Bobbi Brown Shimmer Eye Wash in Champagne to line the inner corner of your eyes and smudge with your ring finger.

To get Reese's peaches and cream cheeks, apply a subtle peach powder blush like Kat Von D Everlasting Blush in Wish with a tapered blush brush in the apples of your cheeks, sweeping upwards along your cheekbones for extra lift.

To complete this look, line your lips with a nude lip liner like BITE Beauty Contour Lip Liner in Nutmeg. Then apply a shiny toasted coral (coral with a hint of brown) lipstick like Lipstick Queen in Coral with a lip brush.  Blot with a tissue and then follow with a second coat.

Even though it's still warm outside, Reese has convinced us it's time to change with the seasons. We're putting away all our electric summer colors (except for our bright fuchsia lipstick obviously; let's not be crazy). We're ready to adorn our faces with warm toasty colors that make us think of picking pumpkins. Okay, more realistically we would be watching our husbands and boyfriends pick the pumpkins while we sipped hot chocolate. We love fall.
