First she starts dating an older man, then she starts wearing belly-exposing dresses?! Is Dakota Fanning the latest victim of Miley Cyrus fever?

We're not sure there's such a thing given the recent bad press from the "We Can't Stop" singer's VMA's performance, but it's hard to deny how much the former Disney star and current Night Moves actress look alike in this Atelier Versace frock. Even the pale skin and super blond hair are the same!

Of course, we have to give the Very Good Girls actress a little credit. Her slithery sequined gown is a far cry from the racier midriff looks Miley has been known to rock. In fact, the infamous twerker could stand to take a page from the famous Fanning's book.

A look can be sexy without being see-through, skin-tight or showing way more skin. We're not in love with the reptile-feel of Dakota's red carpet look, but it's certainly a more sophisticated way to take on the trend Miley has been parading around all summer long.
