Almost Perfect: Heidi Klum's Awkward Belt Breaks Her Otherwise Beautiful Look

The Project Runway host would not pass Tim Gunn's test with this weirdly accessorized dress

Is this not the Heidi Klum who spent a decade as a runway model before becoming the host of a fashion competition show?

Because this awkwardly placed belt is the kind of mistake a red carpet rookie would make! We can't figure out why the America's Got Talent judge felt the need to add a little extra to her Michael Kors dress, but we'd venture to guess Michael Kors is even more upset...

Belt aside, it's a really fun look! The black, bustier top showcases this supermodel's curves and the yellow patterned bottom pops against her golden skin. We're even big fans of the simple, strappy sandals.

So why the need for an out of place accessory? Our guess is that the empire waist made Heidi feel like she needed a belt to create a proper middle. We can relate to the thought, but on this frock it's a total fail.

Somewhere Tim Gunn is shaking his head, and disappointing Tim Gunn is worse than any punishment we could give.
