Why wear one dress when you're famous enough to wear two? But which is better?

One of the perks of being an Oscar nominated actress is that you get to wear not one but two gorgeous designer gowns in the same night: One dress for the awards show and another for the afterparties. Which also means there's twice the risk for double the potential rewards.

First up is Anne Hathaway, who went from pretty in pink to sultry in blue. The structure of her Prada gown for the big show made for a tricky, nipply look that didn't quite work. For the Vanity Fair party, the Best Supporting Actress winner changed into this slate blue, Saint Laurent halter dress. The sequin neckline is fun, but the '70s style would work better if there was any shape to the look. Our vote is pink over blue, you?

Next up, Jennifer Lawrence makes the transition from perfect to even more perfect.

It should be impossible to top the Silver Linings Playbook starlet's Dior gown from the red carpet. That shape looks like it was designed to fit her figure and the simple pattern against the pale pink and white is breathtaking. But this is Jennifer Lawrence we're talking about and she stunned yet again in a smokin' hot, silver Calvin Klein ensemble. We have to go with the gown as a matter of principal (it was close!), but which dress gets your vote?

And last but never least is Amy Adams, who started the night is this decadent Oscar de la Renta showstopper. The cloud-blue color and intricate tulle skirt made it all feel fit for a fairy tale. Then, The Master nominee swapped that pile of pretty for a streamlined sexy number also by Oscar for the Vanity Fair afterparty. This fringe-covered gown had a totally '20s feel, but still felt modern thanks to the metallic coloring. What's your pick on this one?
