Elton John doesn't have a ton of fans in Arkansas

A small supermarket in Arkansas has become the center of media attention after they censored an Us Weekly cover with Elton John and his partner David Furnish holding their newly adopted son, Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John. A Harps grocery store in Mountain Home, Ark., covered the magazine with a placard that read "Family Shield: To protect young Harps shoppers." The same method is usually used to cover pornographic magazines. I've seen that cover and it certainly isn't something that needs to be hidden from young eyes. Gays have been adopting left and right for the past few years, and people need to get used to it. The only thing that cover is going to teach young children is that not all gay men age great.
