Harris explained that Hef surprised her with the ring hidden in a Little Mermaid box, because that's her favorite movie. I don't find that surprising, lots of kids love The Little Mermaid, and often when a grandparent doesn't know what to get for a child, something from that movie is a go-to gift. Hef added that when she started to unwrap the gift, he reached over and wound it up so that music would be playing while she discovered what was inside. The whole thing was very emotional and Harris found herself in tears, which often happens when you realize you're going to have to shtoop someone who is 60 years older than you for the rest of his life. On the bright side for her, that isn't going to be much longer.
