Chris does his best to hide from view in the backseat of a car upon leaving the Los Angeles Police Department's Wilshire station, where he turned himself in at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 8, 2009. He was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats and was released after posting $50,000 bail. Meanwhile, Rihanna remains in seclusion after being released from the hospital.
The Arraignment
On March 5, 2009, Brown made his first appearance in court, where he received a pair of felony charges for assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury and making criminal threats. Rihanna was not required to be there.
The Plea
The R&B man appeared in court again one month later to enter his not guilty plea. Again, Rihanna did not attend.

Not so fast. While the former duo both attended the fourth game of the NBA Finals, they sat on opposite ends of the same row.
