The music world lost a sweet, funky soul with the death of Adam Yauch. Though he and his cohorts got their start as foul-mouthed, bratty rappers with Licensed to Ill, the trio matured as men and musicians through albums such as Paul's Boutique, Check Your Head and beyond. Yauch became a voice of peace as he spoke out for the people of Tibet. He leaves behind a wife and daughter, a Hall of Fame musical group and millions of fans. Remember him with this gallery.
