The court dates never end for Lindsay! This time she made a last minute appearance for a possible probabtion violation stemming from charges she lied to police after last summer's car accident. She looked professional and appropriate in a little black Chanel court dress and Louboutins.

Looking more business-like and conservative than ever, the actress wore a blue Givenchy suit, black platform pumps and a white Céline bag to her court hearing, where the judge formally ended her probation for her necklace theft and DUI charges. Congrats, Linds!

The actress proved that her life was really "back on track" by arriving fashionably early in a conservative (for the often flashy actress) trench coat, mint-green dress and a chunky diamond bracelet. The judge expressed her approval of her progress, praising her "positive change" and declaring she was in the "home stretch" of her legal battles.

Stopping by the courthouse for a superfast progress hearing in which Judge Stephanie Sautner gave her a glowing report—"Just keep doing what you're doing, you appear to be doing it well," she said—Lohan was conservatively dressed in navy-blue high-waisted slacks, a light-blue sweater set and sky-high platform heels. Looking good, hon!

The actress' court style definitely looked more conservative as she appeared for a hearing in brown slacks with a tan cardigan and pointy-toe platform pumps. But the fashionista in her couldn't help rocking a leopard-print bag. Fashion fail.

No amount of adorable polka-dots on this sweet navy dress worn with white heels could get the judge to change Judge Stephanie Sautner's mind when she sentenced Lohan to 30 days behind bars after the actress admitted to being in violation of her probation.

After arriving to court in a white dress and scart that looked more summer-party-appropriate rather than court-ready, the actress was cuffed and ordered held on $100,000 bail after a judge revoked her probation for failing to follow through with her community service. Soon after, LiLo posted bail and was ordered to return to court to find out if she would face jail time.

Oops! La Lohan showed up to court for a failed alcohol test while she was under house arrest, but at least her attire—black slacks, a light-blue striped button-up top and simple pumps—said she was taking this visit more seriously. Fortunately for the actress, Judge Stephanie Sautner ruled that Linds was not in violation of her probation, but that she was "guilty of extremely poor judgment."

The same day that LiLo showed up dressed a bit too casually for court in blue sailor pants, a black long-sleeve top, heels and a cream scarf, a judge ruled that her felony theft charge had been knocked down to a misdemeanor and sentenced the starlet to 120 days in county jail and 480 hours of community service, and she was immediately taken into custody.

Whoa, Linds' style took a nosedive when she rushed into court 30 minutes late in this skintight nude Raquel Allegra minidress, black tights and booties. "It's not the right outfit to wear to court," criminal defense attorney Alec Rose told E! News. "It can send a message to a potential jury pool or more importantly the judges who are deciding whether to cut you a break that you might not be taking this very seriously."

Learning from her previous fashion faux pas, Linds stepped up her game at her second court appearance, facing the judge in classy Chanel cream high-waisted slacks and black platform pumps. But the cleavage-baring top paired with trendy evil-eye necklace—to ward off bad spirits—was still showing just a little too much skin for court. The classy pants and necklace, however, didn't sway Judge Keith Schwartz, who told her "this case will involve jail time—period."

The Freaky Friday star made headlines not just for allegedly taking a necklace but for appearing for her felony charge in a skintight Kimberly Ovitz long-sleeve mini, sunglasses and black pumps that showed off all her curves. Obvi, the actress wasn't taking her legal troubles seriously by showing up in this look.
