Oh, Emma Watson, this makes us so sad. The darling of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 premiere dished to E! that since her London premiere look was so classically beautiful, she wanted to go "a bit edgier" and "dramatic" for the NYC premiere. But while the linen corset is kind of cool, the crazy satin skirt on this Bottega Veneta piece is so messy and distracting. It's too bad, because this gown and the dark eye makeup don't do our girl-crush Em justice.
After eight Harry Potter premieres, red carpet pro Daniel Radcliffe has got it together. The boy wizard looks classic 'n' chic in a slim-fitting black suit with matching shirt and tie. We're not sure why he's walking the red carpet with wet-looking hair, but maybe that's just the heat and humidity of the New York City summer. Quick, who knows a spell that'll change the weather?
It is so awesome to see fashion icon Sarah Jessica Parker at the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 premiere, injecting a little extra glamour onto the red carpet! She looks fabulous in a summery printed satin Oscar de la Renta maxidress with elegant 'do, navy Ferragamo blazer and matching tote. It's the actress' second Potter Big Apple red carpet with hubby Matthew and son James, who's a famous Potter fan—how cute is that?
One look at Tom Felton and it's pretty obvious why Emma Watson was majorly crushing on the actor when she was younger. He's cool, confident and super relaxed in this black Louis Vuitton tux and casually unbuttoned white shirt. And Tom's rocking the best hair out of Harry Potter's main male stars, by far. This (movie) bad guy is looking good!
Long time no see, America Ferrera! The erstwhile Ugly Betty actress is anything but ug in a beige dress with black underlay at the Potter premiere with her new husband. The shade isn't the most exciting color, but the fringe on America's skirt and sleeves looks like it will look so fun when the babe is in motion. Glad to see her lovely mug on the red carpet again.
All right, so Rupert Grint isn't looking superhot here. That adorable ginger mop is all over the place and his suit just isn't fitting as well as it could be. But at this last Harry Potter premiere—sniffle, sniffle!—we're feeling really sentimental about this guy and his scruffy, sheepish character Ron Weasley, so we're just going to embrace it. We'll miss ya, Ron/Rup!
Modern Family starlet Sarah Hyland hits the Harry Potter premiere in a little navy dress. She can't go wrong in this classic, go-to strapless style with cute ponytail, and the platform slingbacks are super elegant, not to mention sky-high! It's a safe but pretty look, which works, since Sarah's obvs not out to steal the big stars' spotlight (like—ahem—J.Lo did this weekend.)
