Cost: Estimated $70 million

Pretty much the entire world watched as Prince William marry commoner and long-time girlfriend Kate Middleton in the wedding of the century. With nearly 1,900 guests in attendance, the Duchess of Cambridge wore an Alexander McQueen gown designed by Sarah Burton. Celeb guests included David and Victoria Beckham, Elton John and Rowan Atkinson.

The TomKat wedding took place in Italy's 15th century Odescalchi Castle outside Rome. Holmes wore an off-the-shoulder ivory silk gown personally designed by Giorgio Armani. The entire wedding party also wore Armani, and got to indulge in a five-course feast while opera singer Andrea Bocelli performed. Celebrity guests included Jennifer Lopez, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith as well as David and Victoria Beckham.

Even if they're not together now, we can still ooh! and aah at Brad and Jenn's glamorous 2000 wedding in Malibu. On the star-studded guest list were Cameron Diaz and Salma Hayek, along with Aniston's Friends co-stars Courtney Cox and David Schwimmer. Aniston said "I do" to Pitt in a Lawrence Steele floor-length white gown, and the two watched a fireworks display at the end of the night.

If you're the daughter of the fourth richest man in the world, expect a six-day bash for over a thousand guests in multiple luxurious settings across France. Vanisha Mittal, daughter of an industrialist billionaire, and her groom, investment banker Amit Bhatia, were treated to a wedding that would make royals jealous. The lavish ceremonies included an engagement party at the Palace of Versailles, a wedding at the 17th century Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, plus a performance by Kylie Minogue and designer gift bags filled with jewels. C'est très magnifique!

Donald Trump spared no expense for his marriage to model Melania Knauss. The bride's Christian Dior gown cost about $100,000, decorated with more than 1,500 hand-stitched crystal rhinestones and pearls. Over 500 guests attended, including Hillary Clinton, Katie Couric, Matt Lauer, Rudy Giuliani,  Simon Cowell, Barbara Walters and Regis Philbin. An extravagant reception made to look like Versailles was held at Trump's Mar-a-Lago Estate in Palm Beach, where guests snacked on caviar, drank Cristal, and were entrained by Billy Joel and Tony Bennet.

The two played king and queen, sitting on red velvet thrones throughout the evening. Their 250 guests were greeted by trumpeters, entertained by Elton John and watched fireworks at the end of the night.

The wedding took place at Scotland's Skibo Castle, where the couple booked all 21 rooms of the estate for guests, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Rupert Everett, Sting and Trudie Styler. Madonna wore a strapless, cream silk gown by Stella McCartney, accessorized with a 1910 diamond tiara once worn by Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco. The pop star and her film director hubby danced the night away with guests in a basement converted into a disco.

Golf master Tiger Woods wed Elin Nordegren in 2004 during an uber-exclusive ceremony at the Sandy Lane Resort in Barbados. To ensure privacy, Woods rented the entire hotel and the island's only helicopter charter company. Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley were among the 120 guests who watched the pair exchange vows, followed by a reception with entertainment by Hootie and the Blowfish.

1950s actress Grace Kelly was seen as Hollywood's princess with her award-winning performances and elegance on screen. Then, she became true royalty when she wed Prince Rainier of Monaco in 1956. The marriage was dubbed the wedding of the century. Kelly's gown was sewn by 36 seamstresses and was decorated with over 800,000 sequins and 1,500 rhinestones and pearls. The Prince went so far as to create a perfume in honor of his wife, plus put a 12-carat emerald-cut diamond on her finger. Even though the total cost of the wedding is unknown, its safe to say the union of these two was priceless.
