The TomKat wedding took place in Italy's 15th century Odescalchi Castle outside Rome. Holmes wore an off-the-shoulder ivory silk gown personally designed by Giorgio Armani. The entire wedding party also wore Armani, and got to indulge in a five-course feast while opera singer Andrea Bocelli performed. Celebrity guests included Jennifer Lopez, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith as well as David and Victoria Beckham.

The lavish ceremonies included an engagement party at the Palace of Versailles, a wedding at the 17th century Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, plus a performance by Kylie Minogue and designer gift bags filled with jewels. An extravagant reception made to look like Versailles was held at Trump's Mar-a-Lago Estate in Palm Beach, where guests snacked on caviar, drank Cristal, and were entrained by Billy Joel and Tony Bennet.

The Prince went so far as to create a perfume in honor of his wife, plus put a 12-carat emerald-cut diamond on her finger. Even though the total cost of the wedding is unknown, its safe to say the union of these two was priceless.
