Alison is now a TA at a prestigious college, but it's not really her knowledge of English that will actually help out the students the most. They're going to be a lot more interested in her knowledge of things like blackmail and maybe even murder, though that's not exactly what her goal is.
"She's trying to be a better person. She's trying to move her life forward, and she's studying while she's teaching these kids," Pieterse told us, and Alison quickly takes the kids under her wing. "I see these little puppies suffering and I'm like, come here. I know what to do."
EP Marlene King says she becomes a mentor "in a really unethical way," which sounds about right.
Part of the reason Alison is at BHU is to better her life with her wife Emily and her twins.
"Alison is just trying to be the best wife," Pieterse tells us. "She's in Beacon Heights to get her degree and come back and be a professor at Hollis. Her end-all goal is to be a professor at Hollis and to be able to take care of Emily and her babies, so this is just a work in progress. She's faced some challenges, and being without A, the dust has settled, and she's trying to figure out what being an adult means, what being a mom means, what being a wife means, so this is all for the better, but darkness always follows Alison."
