Who better to wear to the U.S. premiere than all-American designer Calvin Klein? That may have been Emma Watson's inspiration for the NYC premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. And as much as we appreciate the sentiment and Em does look sleek and elegant, we prefer our favorite Muggle with just little more hocus pocus—some bigger ear bling would've made this look magical.
It's pretty awesome that all the Harry Potter child actors are so down to earth after more than 10 years in the Biz, but we wish Daniel Radcliffe didn't look so normal here. In this navy blue suit and cazh checked shirt, he's like a kid dressed up for school picture day. Daniel, we love ya, but this outfit is need of a spell that will transform you into a premiere-ready movie star.
Sarah Jessica Parker pays homage to the Brit designers—rocking a Vivienne Westwood dress, Alexander McQueen jacket and blue Nicholas Kirkwood stilettos—in this dark ensemble that would fit right in at Hogwarts. But her best accessories are Matthew and No. 1 Potter fan James, who is adorbz in a tartan tie (and did you hear him talk up how excited he was? too cute). What a gorgeous fam!
What other color would Harry Potter's nemesis wear but all black to the premiere—it's dark and brooding just like him, natch! Tom Felton looks smooth in his black suit with matching shirt. Hey, Tom, can you send some of that movie-star aura Daniel's way? Thanks!
Now that Lourdes Leon has turned the big 1-4, she gets to attend premieres without mom Madonna. Sweet! The teenage clothing designer and huge Potter fan works her cute and edgy young style in a blue mini with leather jacket, black tights, Alexander McQueen skull scarf and Union Jack clutch. Best. Night. Ever!
The hair is combed and there are no graphic tees or Chuck Taylor Converse in sight—after so many schlubby red carpets Rupert Grint finally cleans up nice in this slimming, three-piece pinstriped suit! OK, so the ginger-haired star left a little bit of stubble on the face, but you can't really expect perfection from bumbling Ron Weasley, right?
