After weeks of rumors, Miranda Lambert confirmed her relationship with fellow singer Anderson East by taking to Instagram on New Year's Day, 2016 with this sweet pic, adding the caption, "The snuggle is real...".
On Valentine's Day, 2016, Miranda surprised fans at Anderson's concert by crashing his Massachusetts gig with her country singer pal Gwen Sebastian. The ladies joined Anderson to sing a cover of Mariah Carey's "Always Be My Baby", which was really a Valentine's Day present for everyone, not just the happy couple.
It wasn't until April, 2016 that Miranda and Anderson made their first public appearance together by walking the red carpet at the ACM Awards. That night, Miranda went home with two trophies and a proud beau by her side the entire time.
By July, 2016, their romance was in full force, and Miranda shared a pic of a backstage kiss in honor of the Alabama native's 28th birthday. "Happy Birthday to my favorite 'Bama' boy! @andersoneast," she wrote. "#candidkisses #withtheband #tourlove #rolltide #&erson #TexasBama".
Miranda and Anderson hit the red carpet for another one of country music's biggest nights at the CMAs in November, 2016.
The "Little Red Wagon" singer may not have won any CMAs that night, but there was no doubt that Anderson was still the proudest boyfriend on the block. "I was the big winner last night!", Anderson wrote on Instagram. Agreed, Anderson.
A week after the CMAs, Miranda turned 33, and he reciprocated the birthday love with an adorable photo of him and his girl playing tourist at Niagara Falls. "Happiest of birthdays to this beautiful Texan!," he wrote on Instagram. "I'll celebrate you today and everyday ahead. @mirandalambert"
In December, 2016, the lovebirds showed fans a glimpse of their domestic life together with a picture of them lounging at home, just like us non-celebrities. Except the difference was that Miranda was getting glammed up for press to promote her new album, and we're the ones only drinking wine.
Just like she started off the new year by confirming their relationship, Miranda came full circle by posting a photo of her and Anderson on New Year's Eve, 2016. "Goodbye 2016," Miranda wrote. "Thanks for everything! Here's to 2017... to lessons and blessin's, music and memories, friendships and hardships. I'm ready for all. And I'm so thankful to ring in this new year with love . @andersoneast"
In March, 2017, Miranda couldn't help herself and used love song lyrics to caption her latest Instagram with Anderson, writing, "For tonight you're gonna stay with me"- Rod Stewart. #highwayvagabondtour #weshouldbefriends #weshouldbefringe #texasbama #getagrip".
