The eldest daughter of former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama landed an internship with famed producer Harvey Weinstein, set to begin in New York in February 2017.
Malia has had some producing experience; In 2014, she spent time on the L.A. set of Halle Berry's CBS series Extant and the following year, she interned on the New York set of Lena Dunham's HBO series Girls.
Brooke Shields
The actress interned at the San Diego Zoo for a month in 1983 to fulfill a high school work experience requirement. One of her assignments was to clean and maintain the koala exhibit, where she also got to cuddle the cute bears.

In the late '70s, the actor worked as an intern at the Great Lakes Theater in Cleveland. His duties included building sets, hanging lights, and yes, acting on stage.
Aziz Ansari
The comedian and Parks and Recreation and Master of None actor interned for the business department of the satirical news site The Onion while he was a marketing student at NYU in the early '00s.
Oprah Winfrey
Before she became a famous talk show host and media mogul, Oprah began her broadcast career as an intern at WLAC Television in Nashville in the '70s. She moved up the ranks and became the station's first female African-American news co-anchor.
Brooklyn Beckham
David Beckham and Victoria Beckham's eldest child is a budding photographer who once interned for British fashion photographer David Sims. The teen shot a campaign for Burberry in 2016.
Princess Beatrice
Prince William and Prince Harry's cousin and daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, interned for Sony Pictures in 2014. After the company was hacked that year, leaked documents showed she worked as an intermediate production coordinator and earned an annual salary of $30,000, The Daily Mail reported. Sony and Buckingham Palace did not respond.
Ashley Olsen
The Full House alum-turned-fashion designer interned for Zac Posen.
"She was present through a season in the studio one to two days a week, and I tried to create as hands-on an experience for her as possible," Posen told People in 2007. "She came in person and knocked on the door to get her internship, which is four steps farther than most interns go. She had that drive and that's what makes someone special."
Shenae Grimes
The 90210 star interned for Teen Vogue in 2011. Before she joined 90210, which aired between 2008 and 2013, she was an intern for the show Fashion Television in her native Canada.
Regarding her Teen Vogue internship, Grimes told E! News "I wanted to go in and make sure that everyone there, including the other interns, knew I was there to do the exact same stuff as they were and work just as hard as anybody else," adding, "Usually I spend anywhere from three to six hours in the closet doing returns and check-ins."
Lauren Conrad & Whitney Port
Of course, Teen Vogue's most famous intern is Conrad, whose life and career was chronicled on MTV's The Hills in the '00s. During her internship interview, Conrad met Port, who also starred on the reality show.
Sean Avery
In 2008, NHL star Sean Avery interned for Vogue. During his internship, he guest-edited Mensvogue.com, which was shut down later that year, and helped with photo shoots.
In an interview with New York Magazine, Avery offered some insight into the world of Vogue, which sounds like a scene out of The Devil Wears Prada.
"The cafeteria in the Condé Nast building...is filled with some of the best-looking and best-dressed women in New York," he said.
Conan O'Brien
Before he became a talk show host, he worked as a congressional intern to House Representative Barney Frank in Washington, D.C.
The politician appeared on O'Brien's TBS talk show Conan in 2015.
Mindy Kaling
Before she was an actress and star of The Office and The Mindy Project, the actress began her entertainment career as an intern on Late Night with Conan O'Brien at age 19, when she was a college sophomore in the late '90s.
"I couldn't believe how star-struck I was working there," Kaling told Conan O'Brien on his TBS talk show Conan in 2012, adding, "I was the worst intern that's ever worked on the program. Really bad. I wanted to work there not to learn how to photocopy things but to, like, watch you...So I wouldn't do the things I was hired to do. I would just kind of follow you around."
Vanessa Bayer
The SNL star is also a former Late Night With Conan O'Brien intern. She appeared on Conan O'Brien's TBS talk show Conan in 2014 and shared a throwback photo of the two.
"My first day interning...somebody gave us a tour, and I remember looking over at the window where the NBC tour goes and looking at that stage and being so in awe of it," Bayer told Rolling Stone in 2013. "It was pretty emotional to walk in as a cast member."
