Acquiring our weekly Fox fix is about to get a lot harder: "I think this will be the last time you see me on TV," Matthew told our Kristin dos Santos regarding his post-Lost plans. "I'm either going to do the kind of things I want to do in the film world, or maybe I'll just do something else entirely."
Seeing how this final season is unfolding, we don't blame the actor for expressing interest in a little R&R at his Hawaiian hilltop home. He's also discussed working again with Michael Emerson (aka Ben Linus), according to Kristin Dos Santos . Talk about a reunion!
"Acting is something I appreciate, and I think it's been an amazing experience, but I'm not passionate about acting the way you probably should be to call yourself an actor," admits the former model. So what's on the horizon for our fearless Freckles? "I want to have some quiet space," says Evangeline. "[I want to] drop off the radar a little bit and enjoy a little bit of normalcy."
For Josh, the end of the series means dusting off those headshots, returning to Tinseltown and looking for that next gig. "I'm enjoying being an actor," says Josh. "Whether I can get a job or not is yet to be seen." Um, yeah. Something tells us that won't be a problem.
It turns out the actor won't be getting off the island anytime soon. No, that isn't some kind of Lost spoiler alert. We're talking about the fact that after the finale, DDK will be sticking around Oahu, where the series is shot, to work on CBS' remake of Hawaii Five-O.
As the, er, sun is about to set on Lost, the actress has a film titled The Unconditional currently in development. Of course, if that project doesn't pan out, at least Yunjin can use the free time to enjoy being a newlywed.
The Lost regular jumped ship, so to speak, to star on ABC's other sci-fi program, V. E!'s The Soup has discovered a mysterious connection between the two series—is the beautiful actress the hidden link?
It's one thing to be part of a mind bender of a show like Lost. It's another thing to get yourself involved in two of them! But that's just what Dom is doing by also appearing on the high-concept series FlashForward. Don't get us wrong, we love it. Even if it does make our heads hurt.
We certainly don't blame Claire Emilie for wanting to lighten things up a bit with the upcoming action-comedy flick Rouges Gallery. And while her recent movie, Remember Me, was definitely a downer, at least she got to lock lips with Robert Pattinson!
"It's gonna be interesting going back to California and returning to Los Angeles, being another actor trying to hustle a job again," says Jorge about life after Lost. "It's gonna be weird having to drive the L.A. freeways again." Did someone say Smoke Monster?
While the man who was Sayid looks to be taking a break for a bit, we hope he doesn't stay away long. Might we suggest his appearance as a detective on a couple of Law & Order: SVU episodes earlier this year be turned into a recurring role? Then he could really put those interrogation skills to use.
