My NYFW officially began when I walked the red carpet at E! News' NYFW kickoff party. During one of my interviews, I turned around and noticed the iconic Diane von Furstenberg standing right next to me! I'm wearing Ashley Graham for Addition Elle bra, a Milly By Michelle skirt, Celine clutch and Rarities by Carol Brodie jewelry.
Next I stopped by the Patrick Demarchelier's special exhibition preview at Christie's. Anyone who's anyone in fashion was there. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to ask Grace Coddington, Vogue's creative director, for a selfie!
Loved seeing the fabulous model Coco Rocha at the Patrick Demarchelier's special exhibition preview at Christie's!
How cute is Eva Chen, Head of Fashion at Instagram?! We made plans for an unofficial photo shoot in Instagram's "mini conference room."
Posing with my portrait at ALDA's "Real Love" photo exhibit VIP preview party. The exhibit by Creative Director Paul Warren and photographer Jeff An celebrates our beauty and not just our bodies. Check it out at 555 West 25th Street in NYC until Sept. 25. All 26 photographs will be auctioned with proceeds benefiting Pink Agenda.
Snapped a selfie with my fellow ALDA model Danielle Redman in front of our group photo. #BeautyBeyondSize!
Straight off the plane to the green room! Backstage getting ready to co-host Yahoo! Style's "Coffee Break at NYFW" show with my favorite fashion editor Joe Zee. (And I love the dress I'm wearing by Milly.)
I had a blast co-hosting the show with Joe Zee and talking all things New York Fashion Week—don't we make a great team?!
Took a break from NYFW shows and events to meet up with my friends at Nike, who are personally training me for a marathon. This should be interesting!
Lane Bryant and the faces of their new #PlusIsEqual campaign took over NYC to spread the message that all bodies are beautiful. Lane Bryant asked me to give a speech about my views on body diversity in the fashion industry, and it was invigorating to see so many women in the crowd who felt empowered and inspired by the campaign.
Celebrity stylist Brad Goreski and Wendy Williams stopped by to show their support!
Quick pic with Precious Lee, one of my close friends and fellow curvy models who starred in the #PlusisEqual campaign with me. I love working with other females who share the same views on body positivity.
Had so much fun at the W magazine party, which took place at One World Trade Center. This fête was packed with celebrities and fashion insiders, and I even got to meet Mariah Carey!
My latest lingerie collection with Addition Elle made its NYFW debut at the KIA STYLE360 Pavilion on Sept. 15 and I couldn't be more excited. Thank you to everyone who has supported my line! #IAmSizeSexy
After my NYFW show, I headed over to the Milly by Michelle Smith show (and spotted Solange Knowles) and then to Fox Studios to chat about the #PlusIsEqual campaign with Linda Heasley, CEO of Lane Bryant.
And yup—after the longest fashion day ever, I deserved a burger!
