We made it!
All of the 2015 fall TV shows have made their debuts. Some of those debuts went better than others, and some shows have already bitten the dust (buh-bye, Wicked City). We already ranked the shows based on our opinions, but now we've taken your opinions into account, combining our rating and your poll answers into one definitive list of the fall's best and worst new shows.
So give yourself a pat on the back for all the TV you watched and click on through to find out which show is officially No. 1!
When it airs: Fridays at 8:30 p.m.
Ratings: Premiered to a dismal 2.58 million, and it's only gotten worse from there. NBC reduced the episode order to 10, meaning it's probably a goner.
Our ranking: No. 17. We wish this cast all the best.
Your ranking: Truth be told, we forgot to ask you, but you forgot to watch.
Ratings: Premiered to a solid 6.7 million and has been holding steady around 5.7 million ever since.
Our Ranking: We ranked it at No. 19, the worst on the list. We love the cast (especially Albert Tsai), but the show was just not our cup of comedy tea.
Your ranking: 54.41% hated it, making it the most hated premiere, but also the least-hated most-hated premiere in last few years, so that's something!
When it airs: Mondays at 9 p.m.
Ratings: Debuted to 3.1 million, and only got worse until Fox cut the episode order to 10. Episode trimming is the new canceling.
Our Ranking: No. 14. We thought it was laughably cheesy and the acting was wooden, but could be fun in a so-bad-it's-good kind of way.
Your Ranking: No. 18. Only 51.44% of voters loved it. That's more than half, but less than desirable.
When it airs: Wednesdays at 8 p.m.
Ratings: Premiered to 7.5 mil before dropping to around 5 mil. Not great, but not too bad either.
Our Ranking: No. 16. Morris Chestnut's face: Yes. Everything else: No thanks!
Your Ranking: No. 16. 45.29% hated it.
When it airs: Sundays at 9 p.m.
Ratings: Premiered to 6.36 million, then dropped to 5.2, then to 3.9 and it just kept falling til ABC reduced the episode order to 10. (Sensing a trend?)
Our Ranking: No. 15. Ridiculous and very hard on our suspension of disbelief, despite the presence of Chace Crawford.
Your Ranking: No. 14. 65% loved it, and we're going to guess you were also momentarily fooled by the presence of Chace Crawford.
When it airs: Thursdays at 8:30 p.m.
Ratings: Premiered to 11.28 million, which is pretty darn good these days. Viewership now hovers around 8 mil.
Our Ranking: No. 12. "Like Parenthood, but a sitcom!" We're fans.
Your Ranking: No. 15. 55.05% loved it.
When it airs: Wednesdays at 10 p.m.
Ratings: Debuted to 8.6 million viewers and is now averaging 6.5 million per ep. So far, CBS has ordered six more scripts.
Our Ranking: No. 13. Filled with tons of medical tropes, but a possible successor to ER's throne.
Your Ranking: 67.4 of you loved it, ranking it at No. 13.
When it airs: Thursdays at 8 p.m.
Ratings: Premiered to 6.09 million and gradually fell to 3.78 million
What we thought: We didn't love it, but we did enjoy revisiting the world of a once-great show.
Your Ranking: No. 12. 67.79% loved it.
When it airs: Tuesdays at 8 p.m.
Ratings: Debuted to around 9 million viewers, then dropped to 5 million, and now less than 4, but the series has been picked up for a total of 16 episodes so far...but will return with a new showrunner and a bit of retooling in the spring.
Our Ranking: No. 10. Cute, but we might not care enough about puppet relationships to really love this show.
Your Ranking: No. 11. 68.26% loved it.
When it airs: Thursdays at 10 p.m.
Ratings: Premiered to 4.68 million and then steadily fell. The episode order was soon reduced to 9, and the ninth episode just aired. We probably will not be seeing The Player again.
Our Ranking: No. 9. We liked it well enough, but didn't totally love it aside from Phillip Winchester running around in his underwear. That was fun!
Your Ranking: No. 10. 69.48% loved it.
When it airs: Tuesdays at 10 p.m.
Ratings: Premiered to 9.86 mil and actually took three weeks to drop below nine. Currently holding steady around 7.5 million, and CBS has already picked the show up for a full season.
Our Ranking: No. 8. Goofy in a great way, and everything the movie was supposed to be but wasn't.
Your Ranking: No. 9. 71.88% loved it.
When it airs: Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m.
Ratings: Premiered to just under 5 million and is now hanging out around 2.5 million with a full 22 episode season already ordered. Will it be back next season? Unclear, but we hope so!
Our Ranking: No. 7. Cute as can be, and Rob Lowe is perfect.
Your Ranking: No. 7. 77.5% loved it.
When it airs: Mondays at 8 p.m.
Ratings: Through the roof! For the premiere, anyway. Supergirl debuted to nearly 13 million viewers. That number declined pretty quickly, but 8 million is still nothing to scoff at in these trying times.
Our Ranking: No. 6. A little too cutesy but it's about damn time we had a female superhero headlining a network TV show.
Your Ranking: No. 6. 79.83% loved it.
Ratings: Ratings are dumb and they don't matter! (This show hasn't even hit a million for a single episode yet, but it is on the CW, where lower ratings are not nearly as discouraging.)
Our Ranking: No. 3. We love love love this show, and we've only grown to love it more each week.
Your Ranking: You love it a little less than we do, but we guess we'll forgive the 24% of you who hate it for some strange reason.
When it airs: Tuesdays at 9 p.m.
Ratings: The premiere (and only) episode brought in 8.64 million viewers, which was pretty good!
Our Ranking: No. 11. There wasn't really anything to dislike, but the backdoor pilot didn't really give us anything we hadn't seen before. We probably would have changed that ranking if we had seen the new pilot, however...
Your ranking: No. 1! Of course, only one episode as aired, but that one episode was great, and 95.7% of you loved it.
When it airs: Mondays at 10 p.m.
Ratings: Premiered to 10.6 million, and now hangs out around 8 mil, but it doesn't matter because it's already been picked up for season two!
Our Ranking: No. 4. Jaimie Alexander is a treasure, and this show is intriguing.
Your Ranking: No. 5. 83.6% loved it.
Ratings: Premiered to 5.3 million and now holds steady around 3 million. Fox has already picked up the show for a full 22 episode season!
Our Ranking: No. 5. The cutest show, especially in terms of nostalgia thanks to John Stamos and Josh Peck.
Your Ranking: No. 4. 84% loved it.
Ratings: A solid 7 mil total tuned in for the premiere, and more recent episodes have brought in a little more than 4 million total.
Our Ranking: No. 1. Y'all know how much we love this show.
Your Ranking: #3. Juuuust under 90% (89.4%) loved it.
When it airs: Sundays at 10 p.m.
Ratings: Premiered to 7.14 million and now brings in just over 4 million. ABC has already picked up the show for a full 22 episodes.
Our Ranking: No. 2. Sexy people solving sexy mysteries while committing sexy crimes and having sexy sex. What more could we ask for in a show?
Your Ranking: No. 2. 91% of you loved it.
