"I am voting for her because I truly believe that there is nobody more qualified to run this country—our country—than our Secretary of State," the pop star said at a rally in Iowa City, Iowa.
"Women's rights, universal Pre-K, family planning, affordable college, affordable healthcare, middle class tax relief, makes Hard Choices. Nobody's perfect but nobody's more qualified for our top job than @HillaryClinton. First Lady, Senator, Secretary of State, life-long service to this country and its citizens," the Pitch Perfect 2 director wrote on Instagram on June 23, 2015. "She has my vote in 2016. #HillaryforAmerica #Hillary2016."

After Clinton announced she's running, the American Idol host told E! News, "I'm very excited by the news...I think it's time for a woman [president]."
