After forming on The X Factor in 2012, the band released two albums as a quintet: Reflection and 7/27. On Dec. 18, 2016, Camila Cabello left the girl group, while Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane Hansen, Lauren Jauregui and Normani Kordei promised to continue making music without her. "Harmonizers, we are in this together," the quartet said. "We love you with all of our hearts."

While Panic! is still alive and well the band has been through its fair share of shakeups. In 2009, following the release of their successful sophomore album Pretty. Odd., guitarist/vocalist Ryan Ross and bassist Jon Walker left the band to start their own project, The Young Veins. The band then became a two-piece consisting of vocalist Brendon Urie and drummer Spencer Smith.
The band took on guitarist Dallon Weekes and officially became a three-piece until 2015, when Smith announced he was officially leaving the band to receive treatment for addiction. Shortly after Weekes was changed from an official member to a touring member.
Today, Brendon Urie is the only official member of the band, and is joined on stage by Weekes and a touring band during concerts.
The Chicago punk rock band disbanded in 2009 for an "indefinite hiatus." In the years following, vocalist Patrick Stump and bassist Pete Wentz went on to pursue solo careers and deny any chance of a reunion.
