If Mia could curate her bucket list breakfast, it would be at the Aman Summer Palace in Beijing. A traditional Eastern Breakfast, which she says everyone should experience at least once in their life - dim sum, pickled and steamed veggies, wonton soup, congee and fried bread.
Mia also gathers inspiration from around the world. On her trip to China she was honored to hear a private performance by the Chinese National Orchestra, which performs with a combination of traditional and modern instruments.

Mia's love affair with New York City is tied to her love of street art, especially in the East Village where she lives. "Almost every wall has been blessed with a mural," she said. "Some are landmarks that have been around for decades and others pop up overnight, but they all add to the color and diversity of the city."
Although her Coachella playlist is filled with electronica, hip-hop and indie rock, Mia said she loves to chill out with classical music too. "Check your local community centers, high schools, and colleges - a lot of touring musicians add on smaller, free, or donation-based shows at these venues when they're in town for their symphony performances."
Mia is also a fan of Argentine artist Adrian Villar Rojas, if you're across the pond take a walk through Kensington Gardens and experience his cement elephant at the Serpentine Sackler Gallery. "[It's] one of the best contemporary large format art pieces I've seen. Makes me exhausted just looking a the poor guy."
When she's not out smelling the roses (literally), Mia says the second best thing are "fresh, rubber-dipped" roses created by artist Alex Da Corte.
Mia picked up these cute Moroccan slippers during a trip to Tangier last summer. "I live to travel and I travel to collect! They're great for around the house or to throw on with a slip dress for a lazy afternoon amble."
