Olivia, Fitz and Jakes, Scandal
Gah, don't make us choose! Sure, Fitz and Olivia share the steamiest chemistry on TV—We blush during their sex scenes—but he's married. And POTUS. And kind of damaged? Enter Jake, the dashing former B613 assassin (and Fitz's former military BFF) who initially slept with her because her father told him to, but then really fell for her. OK, so Liv is screwed no matter what, but damn it, we can't help but want her with both of ‘em.
Elena, Stefan and Damon, The Vampire Diaries
Five seasons in, TV's juiciest love triangle is still going strong. Eternally torn between two brothers, Elena stills finds herself standing between Stefan, the "good" one, and Damon, the "bad" one. While human Elena could only see herself with Stefan, vamp Elena is more drawn to Damon and the two finally entered a relationship this season. Stefan? Surprisingly OK with it. Too bad Katherine (posing as Elena) just broke the poor guy's heart, sending him, once again, on a dark and deadly path, killing Elena's friend in the process.
Klaus, Hayley and Elijah, The Originals
Sure, she's having Klaus' supernatural offspring, the result of a one-night stand on The Vampire Diaries, but it's hard to resist the will-they-won't-they dynamic between Hayley and Klaus' older brother Elijah. Sounds wrong, but feels oh-so-right.
Mary, Bash and Francis, Reign
Oh, you want to talk about stakes? How about the fate of three countries resting in the fickle affections of three teens? Though Mary had been set to wed Francis since the womb (basically), a nasty little prophecy predicts the marriage will be the death of him. So now, Mary is betrothed to his half-brother Bash, the King's favored bastard son. One girl, two brothers? Works every time. (See: TVD.)
Ichabod, Abbie and Katrina, Sleepy Hollow
Purgatory is no match for true love, but a fellow Witness might be? While Ichabod and Katrina are married (and even had a child together, who turned out to be John Noble aka the Sin Eater aka War!), the dashing Revolutionary War vet shares an undeniable chemistry with leftenant Abbie. Come on, when have fist bumps ever been this adorable?
Scott, Allison and Isaac, Teen Wolf
The most refreshing teen love triangle saga on TV, Allison and Scott were each other's first loves and shared an epic romance for the first two seasons, but are totally OK with each other seeing other people ATM (at the moment, duh). Too bad Isaac, Allison's new partner-in-flirtation happens to be a member of Scott's werewolf pack.
Emily, Jack and Aiden, Revenge
Is it ever possible to get over your first love? Revenge's love triangle is the classic tale of your past vs. future. Jack represents Emily's life before her father (and innocence) was ripped away from her, while Aiden brings out post-tragedy Emily's fire and passion. Jack may bring out the best in her, but Aiden sees her for who she is now. (Also: LOL Daniel.)
Mindy, Danny and Cliff, The Mindy Project
To be fair, the odds are already stacked against Cliff, simply because Glenn Howerton's adorable lawyer is not a series regular, while Chris Messina's Danny is The Guy, you know? But still, the midseason cliffhanger, with Danny and Mindy sharing their epic first kiss on a plane just as Cliff vowed to win our heroine back, was the stuff rom-coms are made of.
Emma, Captain Hook and Neal, Once Upon a Time
Sure, Emma and Neal are the fairy-tale dream team behind Henry and have stated that they love each other, but sometimes, you can't help but root for the good girl to pick the bad boy. And is there a badder "boy" than Captain Hook himself, who seems to genuinely care for Snow White and Prince Charming's daughter? (Plus, think of all the free eyeliner she'd score!)
April, Jackson and Matthew, Grey’s Anatomy
Nothing heats up a love triangle more than a last-minute objection at a wedding! And oh, what an objection Jackson made at April and Matthew's wedding, "April, I love you. I always have. I love everything about you. Even the things I don't like, I love. And I want you with me. I love you, and I think that you love me too…Do you?" And cut to black. Gah!
Oliver, Laurel and Felicity, Arrow
No one could've predicted the impact Felicity, who was supposed to be in just one episode, would have on the series…and on our hero, Oliver. While Laurel was introduced as his One Epic Love, fans have quickly rallied behind "Olicity" and the CW hit has been hinting at Oliver developing feelings for his IT expert.
Veronica, Logan and Piz, Veronica Mars
A long time ago, they used to be TV's most-debated love triangle. 10 years later, they still are! In the series finale (which was so not a series finale), Veronica ended up with Piz, vowing to never speak to Logan again. And at the start of the highly anticipated movie, Veronica is still dating Piz, but can't resist the pull of her former love. Especially when he needs her help. Is Piz a match for LoVe? We'll find out on March 14.
