Just to make us weepy, it's Nolan (Gabriel Mann) who walks Emily down the aisle, to the satisfaction of "Nemily" fans everywhere. Be advised, though, if Nolan is the one who shoots her, it's us who will be dead. 'Cause he's one of only four suspects remaining, on our list of potential shooters.
Revenge costume designer Jill Ohannesson tells us that finding the right dress wasn't an easy task. "They came to me and said, ‘We need for [Emily] to be able to fall off the boat and when she falls we want to dress to flow out,'" Jill tells us. "And they wanted to be able to hide something underneath the skirt of the dress." Wait, what? Hide what?! Maybe blood bags for the special effects? A fake baby bump? We are concerned.
In the season premiere, we already saw that Emily will be shot in the stomach on her wedding night. And supposedly she's pregnant. But is it wrong we are most concerned about the dress? The characters are fake but that dress is real, people! "It was really exciting for me and such an honor to get to design the dress myself, " Ohannesson tells us.
Ohannesson gave producers four dress design options. "It was a unanimous decision on the one that we chose," she tells us, "which was this beautiful column of Alencon lace, then it's an overskirt of tulle that gives it that beautiful movement when she's in the water." She had to make four dresses...so the producers could do terrible things to them. Evil bastards.
Oh, snap. Mother of the groom Victoria is totally upstaging the bride with her flawless mermaid silhouette. Devastating! And oh yeah, anyone notice how she appears to be in prime position to shoot Emily in the stomach? Not. Good. (But if you read our spoiler story, you know it's not Mama Grayson.)
So what will everyone else be wearing? "Some of what the people were wearing at the wedding was dictated by the writing," says Ohannesson. "Some of it called for very specific looks."
Could Josh Bowman (Daniel) be leaving the show? "I'm trying to pitch a Daniel death by the end of the season," Bowman told TV Guide, in the weirdest interview we've seen in a while. "I love working on the show, but I'm just being honest. My character has flip-flopped the most, and it's been so hard for me to play." But your real-life girlfriend is on the show! Does not compute! We are betting he sticks around for season four, and our sources tell us that, too.
So. Much. Pretty. And now we're tossing out all of our own wedding photos.
Apparently they make it to the cake cutting. So the real tragedy here is they are not spared from that awkward intertwined-hand-feeding-moment. Hasn't Emily suffered enough? We also presume that this means the two characters are indeed legally married when Emily gets shot. How will Daniel handle the tragedy? Who pulls the trigger? Find out when Revenge's crazy winter finale (with the wedding) airs Dec. 15 on ABC. And make sure to check out our post revealing the four characters who are on the list of shooter suspects.
