Katy Perry and John Mayer were first spotted having an intimate dinner at Pace Restaurant in Los Angeles. Their meal together left everyone asking, "date night or just friends?"
The singers broke up briefly after, but sources told E! News that they were never official. "They were honestly having fun. People made it out to be far more than it was."
Just a month later, Perry and Mayer were seen canoodling at FYF Fest in downtown Los Angeles with some friends.
The duo had fun in the audience while watching The Rolling Stones perform in Newark, N.J.
Mayer and Perry held hands while hiking in Los Angeles in February 2013.
Although neither of them won at the Grammys, the couple stayed close to each other during the show!
Mayer told Anthony Mason on CBS Sunday Morning, "For the first time in my life, I don't feel like I'm in a celebrity relationship. I really don't. I'm not in a high-profile...I know it's high profile. It's hard to explain." Too cute!
The couple were seen leaving the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York in June 2013.
Katy and John left Vincenti restaurant after having dinner on Valentine's Day in Brentwood, Calif. The "Teenage Dream" singer showed off a large ruby red ring on her engagement finger as she walked out of the restaurant!
Just a month after Valentine's Day, the couple called it quits, again.
However, they rekindled their romance three months later, and were spotted hanging out at Katy's Memorial Day party.
The lovebirds celebrated the Fourth of July together! She captioned the Instagram photo, "Whose broad stripes & bright stars?!"
Perry revealed that Drake's "Started From the Bottom" gets her in the mood with her musician beau. She said, "Who doesn't love Drake? Drake is so sensitive but yet still so cool. It's a very hard balance to find sometimes."
The adorable duo channeled their inner child and hung out with Mickey and the gang.
The couple was spotted arriving at JFK airport after Perry's Saturday Night Live appearance in NYC. They were also in town for Mayer's brother's wedding!
John opened up about his recent duet with Katy on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, saying that their collaboration on "Who You Love" was a "really great experience." He said, "I watched it get made and I'm still kind of taken aback."
A source tells E! News that the singers are "very serious" about each other, and wouldn't be surprised if they got engaged in the near future! Fireworks, anyone?
