Whitney Houston's hair stylist, Tiffanie Dixon, didn't think Feb. 11, 2012, would be remarkably different from any other day.

But as we all know, that night Houston was found dead at the Beverly Hilton hotel. While Dixon didn't discover the singer's body, she and Houston's daughter, 19-year-old Bobbi Kristina, were among the first on the scene.

"I did see her [on the floor]," Dixon says in a Dateline interview airing Friday night at 10 p.m. "[Bobbi Kristina] said, 'Is everything OK with you?' I didn't know what to do."

Dixon recalled, "I can't tell her anything, 'cause I don't know exactly what was going on…I wasn't even thinking, really. I was more concerned, like, please let everything be OK."

In an interview with the Today show, she explained that she and Bobbi Kristina "absolutely" comforted each other in the hallway. "She didn't know what was going on."

So how is Dixon coping with the loss of her longtime client and friend? "There are days when I'm by myself where I'm very saddened by the whole situation." she said. "So I have to go day by day.'
