Arrested Development is coming back. We know: You've heard all this before.

But let's let the late, lamented series' star Jason Bateman alleviate your doubts.

"We will do 10 episodes and the movie," Batemen tweeted today. "Probably shoot them all together next summer for a release in early '13. VERY excited!"

And he's not the only one: Will Arnett and show honcho Mitch Hurwitz are also in on the big news...

Today at the New Yorker Festival, Hurwitz announced that he's hoping to produce ten new episodes, a mini-season if you will, that would air before the movie is released, which was first reported by our friends over at TVLine and confirmed to E! News by Bateman's rep. Each of the ten episodes would reportedly focus on a different family member.

Arnett tweeted about the good news while hanging out with his on-screen bro Batemen in a men's restroom. "I'm peeing with @batemanjason at the moment ," Arnett tweeted. "We can confirm that we are going to make new AD eps and a movie."

The one snag in the AD crew's plan? No word yet if Fox, or any other network, has agreed to air the new episodes. Keep those fingers crossed, people, and maybe, just maybe, this dream will become a reality.
