You know what's better than Valentine's Day? Valentine's Day TV-style, where small-screen characters with seemingly endless amounts of resources and money go all-out for the most romantic holiday.

Or, you know, they reject the idea of Valentine's Day completely and spend it with their fellow singletons, having pillow fights and performing spells—aka the usual.

This year for Valentine's Day, we've got a love triangle brewin' on Glee, a proposal on Cougar Town, matchmaking on Gossip Girl and a hot Australian on New Girl, just to name a few...

It's Artie (Kevin McHale) vs. Rory (Damian McGinty) in the fight for Sugar's (Vanessa Lengies) heart in Glee's Valentine's episode "Heart," which will also introduce viewers to two much-discussed characters: Rachel's (Lea Michele) dads, played by Jeff Goldbum and Brian Stokes! Here's hoping they approve of Finn (Cory Monteith). True Blood hottie Ryan Kwanten is heading to New Girl to romance Jess (Zooey Deschanel), who is single on Valentine's Day for the first time in years. Prepare for some steamy scenes between the two.

On Gossip Girl, Blair (Leighton Meester) is determined to play cupid for someone she loves (who could it be?!), while Nate (Chace Crawford) throws a lavish Valentine's Day party that Georgina (Michelle Trachtenberg) is ready to crash. The female members of The Secret Circle's coven decide to throw an anti-Valentine's Day sleepover party, which obviously gets crashed by the boys, resulting in a shocking hookup.
