Let finale season begin, people!

Yes, the most wonderful time of the TV year officially launches tonight with the season one finale of the CW's Ringer, and the Sarah Michelle Gellar-led soap is kicking things off with a bang. Literally!

We chatted with executive producers Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder, who tease "a bunch" of deaths, baby-daddy drama and answers to your burning questions, but will the finale end with a cliffhanger?

So just how many people are dying in the Ringer season finale? "It's a bloodbath," Charmelo teases, with Snyder adding that "a bunch" of people die, before revealing viewers will see three characters bite the dust. So can we expect at least one major character to die by finale's end? Charmelo simply says, "Yes!"

Though Siobhan has been in in New York for half the season, Bridget has yet to learn that her twin sister is alive and well, and Charmelo teases, "The two sisters will be in the same room at the same time in present day."

While Siobhan has some major sister drama, she's also dealing with some baby-daddy drama, as in who the heck is the father of her twins?! Snyder plays coy but divulges, "The season finale is so much fun. If fans had fun watching last week's episode, this will be a nice conclusion. I don't want to spoil anything. I will say this: The paternity of Siobhan's babies—that story will come to a crazy, fun, delicious breaking point with Siobhan and Henry (Kris Polaha) and a really interesting resolution. Details will unfold, and that's all I want to say."

While Charmelo and Snyder wouldn't say if Bridget ends up coming clean to Andrew (Ioan Gruffudd) about her true identity, they would confirm she's definitely considering it. "This episode was all about our characters moving on. They all know if they want their lives to get better, they need to move on," Snyder explains. "For Bridget, it's 'I can't move on without telling the truth and am I going to be able to do it? Is it worth risking the love I have and the life I have, my coming clean?' That's the big question."

"Siobhan" and Andrew renew their vows in a surprisingly happy ceremony and Snyder says Bridget and Andrew fans can look forward to "a lot of happy moments." At least before Bodawai (Zahn McClarnon) decides to crash the party (which we have an exclusive sneak peek of!). Charmelo and Snyder assure us that the Bodawai story will reach a climax and conclusion tonight and tease, "Machado's (Nestor Carbonell) finally going to get his guy!"

When they originally conceived the series, Snyder and Charmelo saw it as a love story between Henry and Siobhan and the lengths one woman would go to for the love of her life. However, as the series went on, they discovered that Andrew and Bridget were actually the core couple for the fans and the writers. "We were seeing the world through Bridget's eyes and it just made sense to really get invested in their courtship," Charmelo explains. "It was one of those things where it wasn't intentional, but it happened very organically, and I think it happened for a reason and it was the right way to go."

Snyder adds, "I think that reason is Ioan. He was written so dastardly originally. Andrew was just dastardly and dark and I think Ioan gave him such beautiful, wonderful qualities that Bridget couldn't help but fall in love with him." Word!

Finally, we had to know if Ringer, which has not yet been picked up for a second season, will end its first-season run with a cliffhanger. "We answered a lot of questions. We made sure we didn't leave fans hanging. We know with shows that didn't answer questions it frustrated fans," Snyder says. "But we do have a big cliffhanger that sets the stage for season two."

Ringer's finale airs tonight at 9 p.m. on the CW.
