The cast of Happy Endings has other things to talk about besides how sorry they are for insulting Frisbee disc golfers. Like Fred Savage, Halloween costumes that connect two castmembers (physically and emotionally) and sleeve puppets.

Our recent visit to Happy Endings headquarters was unlike any other experience we've had on a television set, and the interviews more than prove that. We also managed to get some scoop out of them in between bouts of cracking up and going on cursing binges (looking at you, Adam Pally). Prepare yourself, H.E. fans...

Happy Endings isn't exactly the type of show to keep storylines under wraps, but their Halloween episode has been kind of hush-hush, especially concerning Max and Penny's costume that literally stuck them together for a week. "We're in a joint costume. We cannot say what it is but it is explosive stuff," Casey Wilson tells us. "We are strapped to each other in such a way, I won't say how, but in such a way that Adam and I were conjoined for a week where the only way I was comfortable was to stand up straight and the only way he was comfortable was slumped [over]."

Not about to be outdone, Alex (Elisha Cuthbert) is also taking Halloween quite seriously this year. "I probably can say that Alex really wants to join the gang and is so excited about Halloween as a newly single woman, but then comes down with a really wicked cold," she reveals to us. "When she goes down, she goes down." Her onscreen sister Eliza Coupe adds: "When Alex goes down, she goes meth-lab down. She goes meth-lab-blew-up down."

What else can we look forward to from Happy Endings this season? Only America's Sweetheart! No, not Reese or Julia. We're talking Fred Freaking Savage, people! "America's Sweetheart Fred Savage directed two episodes so far this season, which I'm really excited to see," Zachary Knighton tells us. "Fred also guest starred, and I think people are really going to like seeing America's Sweetheart on TV again." Duh.

Meanwhile, Damon Wayans Jr. is simply happy to find out what the hell his character, Brad, does for a living. "We get to see Brad in his workspace a lot more, see what he actually does for a living, why he wears all these suits," he says. "I feel like what he does is they send him in to sit with a bunch of old rich white guys, he makes them laugh and then they're like, 'Hey, I want to invest in that company!' I think that's what I am, I'm the middleman."

Finally, everyone wants to know about you-who-getting back together on Happy Endings. No, not Alex and Dave. We're talking Max and Penny! OK, so they dated back in college when she didn't know he was gay, but still. We love them together…is it so wrong for them to end up together forever? "I think there's a chance we could [be] life partners," Wilson reasons. "I could see Max moving in with Penny for life."

Pally adds: "I do think sexually that it would work. I'm not calling her mannish, I'm calling myself feminine."

Check out our full interviews with the cast and watch Pally going on a swearing spree, Coupe do most of the interview with a sleeve puppet, and the rest of the gang just being awesome.

Any guesses for Max and Penny's costume? And don't forget, Happy Endings has an all-new episode tonight after Modern Family on ABC.
