He will guest star as Ralph Wilkerson, Brick Heck's shiny new, young and idealistic fourth-grade teacher, whose innovative and involved education methods run counter to Frankie and Mike's "more relaxed" parenting style.
The episode will air Sept. 28, and he's shooting it this week.
The Middle returns Sept. 21 with a one-hour season premiere guest starring Ray Romano.
