An Academy Award winner, a new CW superhero and the mother of all evil queens are coming to a television screen near you! Probably the one in your living room, but that's not up to us.

Once Upon a Time, The Big C and CW's Green Arrow pilot have all been busy casting for important roles this week, so who's playing what? Good question…

The Big C: No big deal, but the Showtime hit starring Laura Linney has nabbed Susan Sarandon as a recurring guest star in its third season. Sarandon will play Joy, a cancer survivor who uses her experiences to motivate others. She'll push Cathy (Linney) to question how she's been handling her cancer situation. The third season of The Big C premiers Sunday, April 8 on Showtime.

Once Upon a Time: Showtime isn't the only network who can bring on Oscar-worthy actresses. The ABC fairy-tale hit has cast Academy Award nominee Barbara Hershey as the mother of the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla). Reportedly, she'll also be in the show's yet-to-be-announced but inevitable second season.

Arrow: Meet the new superhero on the CW! Stephen Amell has been cast as the lead in Arrow, CW's drama pilot based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow. Amell is no stranger to the CW; he's also had guest spots on The Vampire Diaries and 90210. Most recently he has a recurring role on HBO's Hung and ABC's Private Practice. (Justin Hartley played the Green Arrow on Smallville for several seasons.)
