Could he actually be saved by the judges?

"Honestly, in all 13 seasons, we have never had anyone like him. Not even close."

That's what Dancing with the Stars veteran Derek Hough has to say about the star who got voted off tonight.

So...Is that a good thing, or bad? And why are the judges talking about bringing him back? Can they actually do that?!

Turns out, Carson Kressley, who became the fifth star to be eliminated this season, just might go down as the most-liked contestant ever in the history of DWTS, at least according to his fellow cast and crew members.

Calling him "our muse," "the glue the held us together," "the funniest guy I've ever met" and "the most genuine of anyone on the show," Carson's DWTS co-stars were all visibly upset to see the Queer Eye fashionista going home, and made sure the press on hand knew how much he has meant to them.

"I'm heartbroken," judge Carrie Ann Inaba told us after the show. "[Carson] was the heart of season 13. Even my hairdresser said she won't come back next week. She'll miss him too much!"

Carrie Ann also hinted that they're trying to find a way for Carson to return to the show. "Len, Bruno and I were talking about it and we wish we could give him a save. If we had a save, we would absolutely bring him back. Maybe we'll have him come back next week as the ‘judges' choice.'"

His costars are hoping he'll stick around, too. "He always had something to say to lift everyone up, and the group dynamic is going to change," JR Martinez lamented. "He always diffused every situation and lightened it up," added Karina Smirnoff. "He is the fun of the show," Chaz Bono insisted. "We'll miss him and the audience will miss him more than they know." And even Nancy Grace got gushy. "Carson is sincere and authentic. He's not just funny when the cameras are rolling. He's like that all the time."

"Maybe there'll be a special award for Mr. Congeniality!" Carson cracked upon hearing his costars' glowing words. "Just sayin', ABC. Now stop crying everyone, it's okay!"

"I can't say that I'm not disappointed," Carson added, "but I truly do not feel defeated. I came, I danced, I got spray tanned. I got to be myself every week and show the world who I am. I don't regret a single thing."

Next week, the remaining contestants must do two dances, and according to Derek Hough, "This is the part in the competition where you either accelerate or your crumble."

Sounds like that "glue" really could've come in handy. But Carson's not worried about the fate of season 13.

"I think there's something special about this cast and it's not just Nancy Grace's nipples."
