While the actress has yet to publicly comment on her pregnancy since E! News broke the news of her expectant state last month, the mama-to-be found herself in quite the promotional predicament this week when she was forced to make the media rounds.
Well, guess what she got asked about—not only clumsily, but embarrassingly so—while on the PR trail? Fortunately, we don't have to guess at what her reaction to the questions was...it was all caught on tape!
While chatting with X Factor judge turned ET correspondent Steve Jones ostensibly to discuss her new Sharper Image campaign, talk inevitably turned to her current state.
Get a load of this segue...
"Do you know the ultimate gadget that every man wants?" Jones asked. "A baby."
"A baby?" Fox asked. "Oh, I know where you're going with this."
Unfortunately, so did her publicist, and while Fox initially told Jones to go ahead with his question, prompting him with, "What do you want to know?" her rep stepped in and shut the whole thing down.
"You already hear the grumbles, you hear the grumbles," Megan said, referring to the less-than-pleased noises coming from the publicist-filled corner of the room.
"Stop. Stop," came a stern voice from off-camera. "Sorry, no."
As interview shutdowns go, it was a pretty classy way to go. We know a few celebs who might want to take notes.
