When you hear Carolina Herrera, you think a classic crisp white button-down, subdued glamour all-around—you certainly don't think Nicki Minaj.

But the outrageous rapper was there at the designer's runway show today, seated in the front row.

But word is the star caused some major chaos at the event—so what exactly went down?

Well, Minaj was the last celebrity to arrive, long after famed Herrera devotée Renée Zellweger and singer Corinne Bailey Rae, who has been spotted looking glam at nearly every runway show this week so far, were seated.

Vogue editrix Anna Wintour kept a stone cold stare without those familiar sunglasses on while she, along with everyone else, waited for Nicki to arrive.

Backstage, employees grew increasingly more frustrated as the clock ticked, and one was overheard yelling into her headset "Nicki is here, she says she's being harassed and that someone has to come get her! Someone go get her!"

More time passed as everyone took their seats and the potty-mouthed rapper had yet to make an appearance. Another employee was heard yelling, "She's turning around. She's turning around if someone doesn't get her. She says she's being harassed."

Eventually, Minaj found her way in and to her seat, right next to Wintour, who wore an amused smile as she caught a glimpse of the rapper's outfit. Minaj even tweeted a pic of the notoriously icy editor sizing her up.

Perhaps Wintour was wondering who she was, like famed New York Times photographer Bill Cunningham, who was overheard asking another photographer, "What's a Nicki Minaj? Is that a man or a woman?"

Meanwhile, much more subdued and sweet Zellweger summed up the show for us afterwards. "I think it's beautiful, it's beautiful," she said as she rushed backstage to congratulate the designer.
