The Internet was all abuzz on Monday when topless photos rumored to be "Call Me Maybe" singer Carly Rae Jepsen began making the rounds. But were the pics really of Justin Bieber's 26-year-old protégé?
Well, the young woman in the shots kinda, sorta, maybe resembles the Canadian singer-songwriter.

So false!
It turns out the lady in question is actually a 21-year-old model named Destiny Benedict.
"Well I just want to say this Carly Rae is a beautiful girl and i'm honored to have been mistaken as her," Benedict tweeted a few hours ago.
No word from Jepsen herself regarding the confusion.
