In May of 2010, E! News caught up with Jennifer Hudson at the Cannes Film Festival and asked what the dealio was with her long engagement to fiancé David Otunga, and the starlet reassured us that she is getting married and that their wedding was, in fact, "coming up."

Well, that was over a year ago and still no nuptials. Weird.

Now, Star magazine's latest issue is reporting that the whole shebang was called off because the duo are "clashing over Jennifer's career obsession, commitment issues and reluctance to have more children."

Hudson's publicist tells E! News, "I can confirm that the story is not true."

Yay! Jennifer might have bailed on the Michael Jackson tribute, but when it comes to her wedding, she's ready to tie the knot. Even if that means waiting another year or so for it to happen.

But hey, not everyone can do it like the Kardashians.
