We hear that Moore does know Efron and they've been spotted in the same social circle, but it's the actress's daughter, 23-year-old Rumer Willis, who's friends with the heartthrob and his posse.
"They all hang out," one insider says. "And, if anything, Rumer is the one who is after Zac, but she's not his type."
Perhaps the rumor that Moore was cougar-towning it up stemmed from her being sighted at a house party in West Los Angeles that her daughter and Efron also attended.
In the meantime, Moore has less trivial things to deal with. She landed in the hospital last week after suffering a seizure-like episode and has been recuperating at home. Both ex-husband Bruce Willis and Kutcher paid visits to her home on Wednesday—separately, mind you, they didn't carpool or anything—and there's been no word on what Moore's next move is, though paparazzi are staking out at least one well-known treatment center just in case the star happens to show up.
