And what's even more fabulous than the jewels themselves? A portion of the profits go to the Elizabeth Taylor Foundation, which continues to fight Elizabeth's battle against AIDS.
So, which celebs are looking to give back by donning some diamonds and channeling the iconic Ms. Taylor?
The list may surprise you...
We hear from a well-connected source at the exhibition that Sarah Jessica Parker and Naomi Campbell have both been in to check out the legend's jewelry collection along with her incredible line of caftans (so boho chic).
And we love the idea of Carrie Bradshaw herself adding Ms. Taylor's rubies to her dress to complete her red carpet look.
But besides these two celebs, who else did our source see checking out the collection?
Martha Stewart.
Surprised? Yeah, so were we, but then again who wouldn't be honored to wear anything worthy enough for Liz.
But we're even more shocked the usual suspects haven't been in to check out the jewels. Where are you, Kim Kardashian, ‘cause you've repeatedly said how Ms. Taylor is your idol?
Or Nicole Richie, perhaps? We think the caftans could serve as fabulous inspiration for your Winter Kate line.
But remember, the exhibition is open to all, so even if you can't spare the bucks to bid on the jewels, you should still check out the beautiful tribute to the broad.
It's for a good cause, and what better way to keep Elizabeth's memory (and hope for the future) alive?
