Nicole Kidman's Pap Problems Won’t Go Away

The Aussie star has had her fair share of paparazzi issues, and now they’re being fictionalized on TV

We've repeatedly asked over and over for Nicole Kidman to apologize for her bodyguard viciously attacking that paparazzo from more than a year ago. The dude was left bloody and bruised while Nic just sat in her car, not a scratch on her protected porcelain skin. Hell, even mentioning that the incident in fact happened would be a step in the right direction.

All we got was total Chris Brown guilty silence.

But not everyone Down Undah is keeping Nic's war with the photo hogs silent! Do read on:

Australia has a show called City Homicide, and just like our Law & Order, the plotlines are "ripped from the headlines." This week, the crime drama featured an ep where a paparazzo, who was involved in a court case for putting a listening device in a pop star's house, was murdered while staking out a celeb in his car. This scenario certainly ain't too far off from infamous real-life Aussie pap Jamie Fawcett, who was taken to court for invading Kidman's privacy.

"I have been pursued many times," Kidman said during the trial in 2007 against Fawcett. "I have had this happen in relation to this particular man so many times...I employ people to protect me now. I employ people 24 hours to protect myself because I don't feel equipped to handle things."

Could Nic have hired people who were too aggressive to make up for the fact she felt totally helpless? Certainly appears that way.

No word if N.K. saw or heard about the ep, but Fawcett, who's now bankrupt because of Kidman's testimony against him, sure did. But when asked for comment, all he said was, "Silence...I have nothing to say whatsoever."

Does Kidman have some hold over the pap, keeping him from speaking his mind? And could it be related to the fact that Flynetonline, the agency whose photographer was beaten up by N.K.'s goon, ain't around anymore?

We already knew Nic's ex, Tom Cruise, had a total tough-guy handle over his naysayers, but could it be that Kidman's just as powerful with those who try to mess with her? You'd better believe it.
