Well here's some news that should warm you up (or at least get you feelin' a little hot below the belt). Magic Mike has officially found a home at Warner Bros. And better yet: A release date has been set.
So when should you expect to preorder your tickets?
The studio confirms that the flick is set to hit theaters on June 29, 2012.
It's not too shocking that Warners will be rolling out Steven Soderbergh's stripper flick, as they were the same ones that backed his last flick, Contagion.
Hey, at least beefcakes in banana hammocks are a sexier sell than GOOP queen Gwyneth Paltrow dying and getting her head sawed open.
And since we have a date, that means we can officially start the countdown.
While we're sure to hear more steamy stories from the set (especially now that star Alex Pettyfer is getting très comfortable with cutie costar Riley Keough) and we hope to peep more paparazzi pics of the studs stripped down, we take comfort in know there are only eight more months until we get to ogle Matt Bomer on the big screen.
And that's enough for us to survive the unsexiness of sweater season.
