Four of the hottest gals in Hollywood—Lea Michele, Taylor Swift, Scarlett Johansson and Evan Rachel Wood—are all apparently in the running for a role in the big-screen adaption of Les Misérables, according to The New York Post.
And since we're sure this movie will drum up some Oscar buzz (it's arguably one of the best shows, like, ever), the broad who books the gig will have to have some killer pipes and some top notch acting chops.
So which double threat deserves the role?
The role in question is that of Éponine, a chick that's just lookin' for some quality loving. And the lady that lands it will join the likes of Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway and Russell Crowe who are all signed on.
First up—and probably most predictably—is Glee star Lea Michele. If you haven't caught her boob tube seriously lately, she can belt out a Broadway tune like no other. An, FYI, Lea was actually already in Les Mis when she was a child, so she knows the material.
Then there's, country cutie Taylor Swift, who has enough Grammys and whatnot to prove she can carry a tune! And while her first stint on the big screen (in Valentine's Day, of course) wasn't exactly Academy Award worthy, everyone deserves a second chance, no?
Or what about Scarlett Johansson? She's got the acting chops (or so say the Golden Globe voters) and has ventured into the music biz a couple of times in the past—though, not always to the best results. We're sure the sexy siren could rise to the challenge though.
And last but not least, there's Evan Rachel Wood. She's a quality actress and has killer pipes that we'd love to see her show off on more than just a Justin Bieber YouTube cover. And maybe she's got that bit of edginess that'll set her Éponine apart from the rest.
