I think it's safe to say we're all Team Katniss, right?! 'Cause The Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence is simply fabulous, and now one of our numero uno girl crushes!
But it's a much tougher call when it comes to her hunky male cohorts, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, who play Peeta and Gale respectively in the big-screen adaptation of the popular book series.
So which of the Hunger hunks do you prefer? It's time to pick a side:
We know that THG isn't really about all the lovey-dovey biz and is far more focused on Katniss kicking ass and fighting the corrupt Capitol powers. But that doesn't mean she can't score some smooch time with her male suitors:
First up, there's the adorably charming Peeta Mellark.
In the first book (and film) P. is a baker's boy thrust into the lethal limelight alongside Katniss. And that's where he confesses his longstanding love to her—but is it real, or just a ruse!? He's romantic, well mannered and optimistic nearly all the time.
As for Josh's interpretation, he buffed up for the role and dyed his brunette locks blonde. Hutcherson's big puppy-dog eyes are parfait for conveying all those deep emotions Peeta feels (which only grow in the later installments of the series!).
Then there's bad boy with a heart of gold, Gale Hawthorne.
Gale shares Katniss's loathing of the corrupt government and wants to do something about it (a rebel with a definite cause, if you will). He's also beyond loyal, proud and K.'s only close friend (before the madness of The Games begins, that is).
As for Liam?
OMGorgeous!
The dude did the opposite of Josh, losing weight and darkening his blondish hair to play Gale. He's got that toughness (and killer jaw line) that we imagined Gale would have when we read the book.
So now it's your turn to tell us whether you're Team Gale or Team Peeta—it's a decision we're so not jealous that you have to make. Do you like the charming, charismatic Peeta or the trustworthy, compassionate Gale?
