Happy Thanksgiving! We hope you're stuffing yourself on turkey and cranberry sauce and all the festive fixings (you know that Team Truth is!).

But before we get too sleepy off all that tryptophan and go into a turkey-induced coma, we figured we better share five things we are oh-so-grateful for this year (and can you all agree with us that it's been a pretty good year?!).

So despite the fact that Ryan Gosling got robbed of his Sexiest Man Alive title, we're willing to look on the brighter side of things:

‘Cause if that's our biggest complaint of the year, then things aren't so bad, huh? Now on to the things that have us feeling pretty fine this year:

1. Magic Mike Strips Away Some Double Standards!
We've gone on and on about how chicks are treated unfairly in this town (because they are), but guys are finally getting a dose of the reality women face in damn near every flick ever: Be sexy or be gone! Well if Steven Soderbergh, who's helming Magic Mike with a sexy cast of hotties like Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Joe Mangiello and Matt Bomer, has anything to say about it, at least.

2. Tis the Year to Be a Talented Chick
Speaking of women: Funny woman Melissa McCarthy wins an Emmy and has one of the biggest flicks of the year with gal-power pic Bridesmaids. Jennifer Lawrence and Rooney Mara show off their acting chops in two huge franchise (Hunger Games and Girl With the Dragon Tattoo) and both movies look amazing. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Can we all say it together: Finally!

3. There Are Consequences for Your Actions!
While Lindsay Lohan still slips in and out of jail in an hour, it's nice to know there are still some consequences for celebrities' actions. Just look at Brett Ratner, who let slip some offensive gay slurs (and was an all around d-bag) and ended up getting canned from the Oscars. Sure, you can run your mouth, but you better be careful what you say.

4. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, Duh
Did you really think we'd make a "Things We're Thankful For" list without including Robsten?! If so, you clearly drank a little too much spiked cider. ‘Cause this year we were treated to some truly delish treats from the couple: like K.Stew finally fessing up that she has an English BF and Rob joking around that the two are already married. We. Love. It.

5. The Awful Truth Readers
OK, maybe we're corny and totally sappy when it comes down to it, but what can we say: Despite the spammers and the people who inevitably bitch at us about one thing or another (see: #4 or the Jennifer Aniston haters who claim we're on her payroll), we love you all. And thank you for coming to the site and gossiping with us every day.

We hope you have a very Happy Thanksgiving. Gobble-gobble.
