Just days after the duo partied together on Saturday night, sources confirm Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama have called it quits.
And while the super weird age difference is rumored to be the reason behind the breakup (she's 19, he's 31), we have a hunch there may have been something or rather, someone behind the split.
Hmm, talk about a Jo Bro ex factor.
As we first told you, Wilmer and Joe arrived at Beacher's Madhouse together on Saturday night, where the boys shared a table, sipped on cocktails and enjoyed the circus-themed show side by side. One onlooker even remembers of the bros:
"You would have thought they were best friends."
Until Ms. Lovato arrived, that is.
By the time the Disney princess paraded in with her posse, Joe had left the table he and Wilmer shared together to make room for Ms. Lovato.
And we definitely don't think it's a coincidence. After all, the singer recently got real in Glamour magazine, explaining the lyrics in her hit "Skyscraper" go out to "every person who tried to bring me down."
She went on to reveal she thinks of the people who "weren't really there for me while I was in treatment," and Dem has recently been über-candid about the besties in her life she's thankful for (Kim K, Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus, to name a few), but she's never included Joe in the mix.
And since she entered treatment shortly after the split with her former BFF turned boyfriend, we can't imagine these two were exchanging texts during Demi's troubled time.
So, even if Demi has said her breakup with the Jo Bro was not responsible for her meltdown, we still can't imagine she appreciated Wilmer spending so much time with a dude who obviously was not there for Dem.
Our take? Three's a crowd in Hollyweird—and this odd crew didn't stand a chance.
